LEARN
Nicole Land of Soil & Stem along with guest instructor and our host, Sarah Hodge, Master Horticulturist and floral designer of Horrobin & Hodge

Nicole and Sarah are known for their natural and unapologetic floral design aesthetic. They are passionate about sourcing the best product and gaining inspiration from the native surroundings. There are boundless opportunities to experiment with what nature has given us and to make the most of the products of the season by collecting that which grows around us. Material such as flowers, branches, seedpods and berries grown in ta native environment are unapologetic in the shape their surroundings have sculpted. When we collect from nature, we learn to find beauty in these imperfections and unconventional shapes.

During the workshop, Nicole & Sarah will give insight to their experience foraging locally and why its important to incorporate indigenous vegetation in floral design. Additionally, Nicole & Sarah will cover topics like color, texture, form, and flower care.

This is a flower intensive workshop where attendees will participate in three full days of hands on floral designing and styling. Topics of focus will include centerpiece building, hand-tied bouquets, urn masterpieces, and installations.

This is design and business focused instruction open to all levels, with a emphasis on wedding and event floral design.
