Lush Inspiration Shoot at the Cathedral Of The Madeleine

Gargoyles peered over the jagged pitches of the roof, while pigeons swooped and cooed around us during this lush courtyard styled shoot.

Our color palette really allowed us to focus on the simple, natural textures of our subject matter: the porous cement, heirloom silver, and the infinite patterns of layered greens that included ferns, eucalyptus, foraged vines, and incredible peppermint scented felt geranium.

As if freshly picked from an overgrown garden, my bouquet design was a bit wild, yet timeless. This beauty was hand-tied in antique French silk ribbon in the most beautiful shade of dove gray I’ve ever seen.

I am so fortunate to work with these amazing vendors: Photography: Erin Kate Photography  | Gown: The Brides' Shop | Cake: Pippa Cakery | Hair & Makeup: Versa Artistry | Cathedral: Cathedral Of The Madeleine | Letterpress Invitation: Rowley Press
