Rose Waters

Surrounded in rosy pastels and swallowed by the stillness of the air, this land seemed bizarre and unreal. What was once an inland sea is now an inhospitable salt-covered desert. So much salt has dissolved in Utah's Great Salt Lake that its edges are encrusted with crystals that sparkle against a treeless landscape and vast sky. It was this dusty pink hue of the salty earth that became the inspiration behind our styling.

The bouquet was composed of dreamy garden roses including, Romantic Antike, Chippendale garden spray roses, and The David Austin Juliet. Other stems included Café Au Lait Dahlias, astilbe, thistle, and delphinium.

A cascading flower halo and handcrafted veil adorned our bride for a whimsical romantic look and the dress was chosen for its beautiful nightingale shade of taupe grey.
